Safety Rules

Having an On-The-Spot (OTS) safety program can prevent serious injuries caused by unsafe behavior. Successful OTS programs empower all levels to correct unsafe behavior as it is happening. This should be followed up with management to disseminate additional training, administer the appropriate disciplinary action, and make any necessary revisions to protocol, supervision, etc. Employees should also be rewarded and recognized for correctly adhering to safety guidelines to reinforce the importance of always being safe!
